Benedict
Benedict is a Shar Pei/Shepherd mix around 8 years old and weighs about 60 pounds. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is a sweet, mellow boy who walks great on a leash. Benedict wants to be your new companion and can't wait for a family to be his forever. He knows tricks like sit and shake and is ready to learn even more! Benedict would be a beneficial addition to anyone's life, come down and meet this special guy today!

Mimi
Mimi is a huge sweetheart. She came to the shelter with a severe allergic reaction to fleas, which resulted in her almost being hairless. She has come a long way since her arrival and now her fur is starting to completely grow back and she is looking as beautiful on the outside as she is on the inside. Mimi is quite vocal and loves to eat. She enjoys being petted and held. She would make a great companion. For questions or directions, please call 330-487-0333.

Langston
Langston is a male kitty around 4 years old. Besides being very handsome, he is also very affectionate and enjoys being petted. He gets along with cats but it is not known how he would be with dogs. To hear directions and current shelter hours, call 330-487-0333.

Gambit
Gambit is a 4 year old Shepherd/Australian Shepherd mix that weighs about 30 pounds. He was returned to the shelter after almost 2 years because his previous family had to move. While in the home, Gambit was housebroken (crate-trained when alone) and loves riding in the car. He would to great with an active family or someone with a fenced in yard for him to run around in. He is a sweet and well-mannered boy! We don't think it would be a gamble to adopt Gambit!

Trixie
Trixie
is a 5 year old Lab mix and
weighs around 70 pounds, but
could stand to lose a few. She
does fine with other dogs and
lived with a male dog in the
past. Trixie is a little shy
at first but warms up quickly
and is a VERY sweet and gentle
girl! This mellow lady is super
smart too! She knows "sit,"
"down," "stay," and maybe more.
No tricks about it, Trixie is
definitely worth meeting!

Dudley
Dudley
is around 4 years old and weighs
about 85 lbs. He has been DNA
tested, and the results found
him to be a mix of American
Bulldog, American Staffordshire
Terrier and Boxer. Dudley arrived
at the Humane Society when he
was found running with an embedded
collar. His neck has healed
up nicely and now he is on the
search for his forever family.
Right now, Dudley is being worked
with by a volunteer to learn
some manners. He is doing marvelous
and is always eager to please
and learn more! He is still
a little timid with brand new
situations but he is slowly
becoming more comfortable with
new things. Dudley loves to
be petted and just hang out
by your side. His absolute favorite
treat is a yummy hot dog and
he is willing to work hard to
earn some. He may have potential
with other mellow dogs or is
very happy just being the only
4-legged animal in the house.

is a 6 year old Shepherd mix
and weighs around 70 pounds.
He has potential with other
dogs. Don't let his age fool
you, when you start to play
with him this laid-back gentleman
turns into a goofy playful puppy!
He is affectionate and has a
great, relaxed personality.
He is also very smart and already
knows how to sit, shake, speak
and give a high five. Come on
down to the HSGA and give Lance
a chance!

Blink
is a very sweet male kitty around
3 years old. He is a big guy
with lots of love to give. He
is affectionate and playful.
He can be a little feisty and
may play nibble at times, so
he might not be the best choice
for younger children. He would
prefer a home without cats but
he has potential with dogs.
He has had some issues with
his skin, likely allergies,
that we will provide you with
more information about that

Kelso
Kelso
is a 10-12 month old Hound /
Lab mix and weighs around 65
pounds. He loves other dogs
and wouldn’t mind sharing a
home with one. He loves to play
and would do great in an active
home! If you think Kelso can

Dwayne
Dwayne
is a 5 year old Rottweiler and
he weighs 120 pounds. He really
likes to play with other dogs,
but due to some resource guarding,
should probably be an only dog.
Dwayne spent time in a foster
home and did really well with
the family and their cats. He
seems to be housebroken, but
may need time to adjust to a
new schedule. He is handsome,
goofy, and likes to just hang
out. Dwayne LOVES to cuddle
and is a very affectionate boy.
This big sweetie-pie hopes he
can find a home soon!

Marigold
is a sweet kitty around a year
old. She arrived at the HSGA
with other cats but would enjoy
living by herself or with furry
companions. She is very affectionate
and enjoys being petted and
is okay to be held. She does
like to play and has a great

BOING!
Boing
is a 1 ½ year old Shepherd/Husky
mix and weighs 60 pounds. He
does really well with other
dogs that are large enough to
play with him. Playing is Boing's
favorite thing to do, whether
it's with dogs or people! Sometimes
he can be too rambunctious when
he gets really excited. He really
likes games and knows tons of
tricks, like "target" and "down."
He may be housebroken, but would
need time to adjust to a new
schedule. Boing would love to
become part of an active, dog-experienced
adult family with the time to
give him the mental and physical
exercise that he needs. Contact

is a 2 year old female kitty.
She is very friendly and loves
attention from people. She enjoys
being held, petted, and will
even roll over for belly rubs.
She can be pretty vocal. She
has gotten along with cats but

Johnny
Johnny is
a young male kitty who enjoys attention
and doesn't mind being held. He came
in with a very bad injury to his neck
due to owner neglect. His wound is finally
almost healed and he is ready to find
a home that will love him and protect
him against bad things. He can be quite
vocal at times but mostly is very quiet
and laid-back. He really loves wet food
and cat treats and gets very excited
when he gets some. Because he is still
healing, it is not known how he would
be with other cats or dogs. To hear
