Juliet is a 6 month old Pit Bull mix and will probably grow to be a medium to large size dog. She just returned from being in a foster home for 2 weeks where she enjoyed playing with their dogs and children. Juliet is doing well with her crate-training. Gibson
Gibson is an 8-9 year old kitty who has been waiting for a home for over a year. He is very shy upon first meeting. The shelter is not his ideal situation. He enjoys petting or sitting in one's lap. Sometimes, when he is really in the mood, when he is out of his cage, you may catch him running and jumping and playing with the other cats like he was still a kitten. Fife
Fife is a 2 year old Foxhound that weighs about 55 pounds. He does GREAT with other dogs here. This smart boy knows several tricks and is eager to please. Jazlyn

Petey
Petey is a Pit Bull/Bull Terrier mix about 6-7 months old and is likely to grow be a medium sized dog. He arrived when the Humane Officers rescued him from being severely neglected. We placed him in a foster home for two weeks to get him back to good health. Now that Petey is healthy and happy he is back at the HSGA waiting to find that special family of his very own! While in his foster home, Petey was on his way to being housebroken and enjoyed the company of other dogs and kids. Alston
Alston came to the shelter with a leg injury. Unfortunately, the bad leg had to be removed. She is still adjusting to life here at the shelter and is a little shy. Q-bert is a quiet 7 year old male kitty. He enjoys being petted and sometimes being held. He is a little shy in new places and around new people but he just needs a little time to warm up. Frankie is an 8-10 months old Boxer/Shar Pei mix. He weighs approximately 50 pounds. Frankie enjoys the company of other dogs, and has play dates here at the shelter often. He is currently being treated for a non-contagious skin issue, and is rapidly improving. Frankie is a goofy boy who absolutely loves to have fun. Tristin is a 1 year old Shepherd/Lab mix and weighs about 50 pounds. He is a little shy so would need someone willing to take things slow with him. Once he is more comfortable, he would love to play. Johnny is a young male kitty who enjoys attention and doesn't mind being held. He came in with a very bad injury to his neck due to owner neglect. His wound is finally almost healed and he is ready to find a home that will love him and protect him against bad things. He can be quite vocal at times but mostly is very quiet and laid-back. Charlotte!
Charlotte is a 10 month old Pit
Bull / Border Collie mix and weighs
approximately 50 pounds. She likes other
dogs, but is sometimes too much of an
excited puppy for some canine buddies.
Charlotte is a stocky girl with a sweetheart
personality. She came in with facial
lacerations but she is healing up beautifully
and is ready to find a loving home.

Meet Versace!
Versace is approximately 3 years
old Pit Bull/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix
and weighs about 45 pounds. She is a
striking golden color and a very loving
girl. Sometimes she is shy with new
people, but she comes around quickly.
Versace will calmly sit beside you to
be petted as long as you want to. She
is a very intelligent girl who knows
"sit," "sit pretty," and how to shake
with both paws. She is playful, loves
going for walks and walks great on a

Meet Arcadia!
Arcadia is a beautiful 3 year old
Pit Bull / Great Dane mix and weighs
around 70 lbs. She does great with everyone
she meets and has potential with dogs
and cats. Arcadia has been at the shelter
a whole year and we don't know why!
She is very well mannered and loves
to go on walks. She graduated from basic
obedience class here at the shelter
and has proven to be a very smart student
and eager to please. She knows sit,
lay down and is working on "roll over."
She can get rambunctious at times, but
knows when to settle down, and would
love to snuggle with you in bed if you
let her. She loves to play and tennis
balls are her absolute favorite thing!
She will fetch, catch and play for hours
with her tennis ball. We know she will
make a wonderful family addition, and

Meet Tracey!
Tracey is a shorthaired, black and
white male who is probably somewhere
around 8 years old. He is a little on
the shy side, but doesn’t mind new people
giving him attention. We are working
on helping Tracey to become the cuddly
boy we know he can be. He loves being
petted. Tracey came from a home with
several other cats, and so would probably
do fine in a home with other animals,
but he definitely wouldn’t mind being
the only one to get all your attention
either. Tracey is definitely an ace
